Musafir Hai Yaro is the pen name of an author who has spent nearly four decades navigating the complex realities of Indian industry—from public sector enterprises and Indo-Japanese joint ventures to private companies and multinational organisations.

An alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad, he has worked across the automobile, consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, electrical, and retail sectors in leadership roles spanning business development, business transformation, and organisational turnaround.

These experiences exposed him to growth and setbacks, recognition and disappointment, principled decisions and difficult compromises. Over time, they revealed a truth that no management textbook could fully capture:
